Day 01
Delhi On arrival at New Delhi international airport you will be received and transferred to your hotel.
Day 02
Delhi: Sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. You may drive past impressive boulevards and buildings such as President’s Residence and others in Lutyen’s Delhi (New Delhi). Also, take a Rickshaw ride tour in the ever so busy Chandni Chowk.
Day 03
Delhi – Bhubaneswar: Take a flight for Bhubaneswar, During the day visit city’s famous temples including Rajarani, Parsurameswar, Mukteswar (Gem of Odia architecture), Brahmeswar & Lingaraj. Evening is free at leisure.
Day 04
Bhitarkanika: Morning drive to Bhitarkanika en-route visit Buddhist site of Ratnagiri, Lalitgiri & Udaigiri. On arrival, check in to the forest resort.
Day 05
Bhitarkanika: Morning cruise to the Bird Sanctuary and trek to the hunting tower of the ancient King of Kanika (trek will be of 3/4 hrs). Later, visit to crocodile museum & interpretation centre.
Day 06
Puri: Morning drive to Puri en-route visiting Dhauli the peace pagoda & Pipli the applique village. On arrival, check in to proposed hotel. Evening is free at leisure.
Day 07
Puri: Morning drive to Konark to visit the Sun temple – also known as black pagoda (world
heritage site). En-route visit Ramchandi temple & Chandrabhaga beach. Also, visit fishermen’s village on
the way. Return to Puri. Relax on the golden beaches of Puri.
Day 08
Gopalpur: Drive to Chilika lake at Barkul (the largest Ramsar site of Asia and famous for its
migratory birds coming from distance places). Take a boat cruise to visit the birds island. Then proceed
to Gopalpur.
Day 09
Rayagada: Drive to Rayagada en route visit Padmanavpur textile village and Saura tribal villages.
Day 10
Jeypore: Drive down to Chatikona to watch the interesting colourful weekly market of Dongriya
Kondh Tribes. This tribe is one of the most primitive tribe of the Kondh’s and they live in the high slopes
of the Niyamagiri Hills. Proceed to Jeypore
Day 11
Jagdalpur (Bastar): After breakfast drive to Jagdalpur en-route visiting Kotpad Tribal textile
village. On arrival at Jagdalpur (the largest town and nerve centre of Bastar),
Day 12
Jagdalpur (Bastar): Explore this tribal land by visiting the famous Bison-Horn Maria tribe known for their weaving, dance and hospitality. Visit the rich forest of Kanger Valley National Park and its attractions. On the way back you may catch glimpse of a weekly Haat.
Day 13
Kanker: Leave for Kanker Palace, This journey will itself be a treasure – trove of vignettes from Tribal life, make a short detour midway to visit Tribal craft communities of Kondagaon. (Bell Metal, Wrought Iron and Terracotta). Upon arrival at Kanker Palace. Members of the Royal Family will join you to share their insights into the life of the region.
Day 14
Kanker: After breakfast visit the village of the Deer – Horn Muria Tribe and have glimpse of the Gotul System. Here one could enjoy the wonderful village food. Later, you will get the opportunity to observe and enjoy Tribal life up close when you visit a Tribal Haat.
Day 15
Raipur – Delhi – Departure: At appropriate time check-out from the hotel and you will be transferred to Raipur airport to board the flight to Delhi.
